Alhaji Muhammad Mumuni, Running Mate of National Democratic Congress (NDC) Flag Bearer, was on Tuesday morning involved in a motor accident, near the Atomic Junction on the main Legon-Madina road, and is on admission at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra, according to first reports
He suffered a fractured his femur and wrist. He is in a stable condition and reponding well to treatment
A warden at the 37 Military hospital told JoyFM that Alhaji Mumuni was brought in a taxi by a Good Samaritan believed to be a Nigerian doing an early morning work out.
According to an unconfirmed source, Mumuni received a strange call at 3:00am this morning. The caller claimed it was a family emergency. On his way to the "emergency", he was involved in an accident with a "strange" car.
According to another unconfirmed source, Mumuni left home for his usual dawn prayer at the Mosque. On his way home, at 5:05am, he had an accident. He was alone and a Nigerian helped him out in a taxi to the 37 Military Hospital
