Kumasi,(Ashanti Region) 29, Sept. Alhaji Ahmed Musah, MP for Asokwa East, has called on Muslim women to take up leadership roles in the governance of the country. This will enable them to participate directly and effectively in decision-making processes affecting them and their children. He was speaking at the inauguration of the Federation of Hajj Women's Associations of Ghana (FHWA) at Aboabo in Kumasi. The MP urged them to maintain the spirit of togetherness at all times and meet regularly to discuss how best to ensure peace and unity among Ghanaian Muslims. Alhaji Musah advised them not to hesitate to expose wrong doing especially those affecting women, adding that they should team up with their husbands to ensure the proper development and survival of their children.
