Koforidua, Jan 4, GNA - It was a night of jubilation and excitement fo= r the congregation of the Apostolic Church-Ghana (Alajo Assembly) when Mr Hafiz Hlorbu, who claimed to be a Muslim, came out from the congregation to declare that he wanted to become a Christian.
"I understand that in life, if you do not change, nobody can change you that is why I have decided that this year I will take Christ as my Lord and personal Saviour," he said. He said on the night of December 31, something told him to get up and go to church but he did not knoww which church to attend. He walked from his residence near Accra New Town where he now stays, passed by other churches and finally found himself in front of the Apostoli= c Church-Ghana (Alajo Assembly) and 93something" told him to enter and fellowship there. Hafiz, 36, who is a mason, is going through a new convert class in the church pending his formal baptism.
