Muslims asked to live in peace for development

Tema, Nov.03, GNA - Mauvli Raghib Ziaul Hag, of the Ahmadiyya Mission in the Greater Accra Region on Thursday called on Muslims to live in peace with one another to enhance development. Leading about 800 Ahmadiyya Muslims from the Tema Circuit in prayers at the Mission at Tema, he said; "It would be meaningless for anyone after going through the 30 days Holy prayers to still harbour bitterness and negative intentions about a neighbour or an issue."

He therefore, entreated Muslims and Christians to bury any differences among them and unite to forge ahead with a common purpose. Mauvli Hag called on the privileged in society to eschew selfishness and emulate the virtues of the Prophet Mohammed who supported the needy and reach out to the poor to enable them participate in actively to develop the society.

At the Twedaase park, Chief Imam Azumah, Tema Zambrama Chief who led another group of the Muslim Community in prayers, called for unity among all religious sects to ensure God's blessings at all times.
