Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Spokesperson for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's campaign team, has said that the Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, Mussa Dankwa's prediction on the 2024 elections could be likened to a lottery.

According to him, the fact that the pollster's prediction came to pass does not mean that he is genuine; however, it could mean that his forecast worked like a lottery.

The Bawumia campaign team spokesperson noted that Dankwa's actions and utterances clearly show his bias towards the NDC, which questions his credibility.

In an interview with GhOne TV on December 13, 2024, Miracles Aboagye stood by his previous stance to criticise Dankwa despite his prediction reflecting the outcome of the 2024 elections.

"His prediction has been correct. Congratulations to him. It doesn't change anything. Those who cast lotto, don't they win? Don't the lotto forecasters win some and lose some? I always insisted, and I'm sure you recall, that I said we take the polls, all of it, and look at the issues.

"So all of a sudden, because his predictions have come to pass, it doesn't take away the fact that he is biased. His commentary and utterances clearly show that he is biased against us [NPP]. A lot of forecasters get their predictions right. The NLA is always paying out for lotto winners. It doesn't mean that they are not lotto forecasters," he said.

Dankwa projected that the 2024 general elections would conclude in a decisive first-round victory.

According to him, John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, is poised to win outright without necessitating a runoff. He also predicted that the NDC would secure a parliamentary majority.

Dankwa's own survey showed Mahama ahead with 51.9% of voter support, while Dr. Bawumia follows with 40.5%.

At the end of the 2024 elections, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, emerged as the winner, garnering 6,328,397 votes, representing 56.55%, while the New Patriotic Party Flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, finished second with 4,657,304 votes, representing 41.61%.
