Kofi Sam Atta Mills, the only son of ex-president John Evans Atta Mills has finally spoken on his father’s death. Speaking with KSM on his show, Kofi Sam said his father’s death simply doesn’t make any sense.

”We normally have morning devotion every day, and when the time is up, a servant comes to wake me but on that day nobody came, so when I woke up, I went straight upstairs to check up on him because I knew he wasn’t feeling well”. I had a nice chat with him and he even told me that his condition is better. ”

I even opted not to go to work on that day, I, therefore, went back to bed, and when I woke up, I went to check up on him again, he was eating with my Auntie, I didn’t like the food, so I asked one of the security men to take me out to Osu, I didn’t really know Ghana well at the time.

Few hours upon arrival at Osu, someone called me saying the old man is gone, and I replied ‘yeah I know,’ because I knew he had an appointment in Nigeria. When we finally arrived at his office, I was told by the security men that the old man was really gone, as in dead.

I just didn’t know what to do at that instant; it just didn’t seem to make sense because one moment I was talking to him and the next moment he is gone, it just didn’t add up, but God and his ways are mysterious.”

He revealed he may consider doing politics in the near future but currently his focus is on building his career and added that even though his dad has created some room for him based on goodwill which he is very grateful for, he believes in creating things himself.

When questioned as to whether or not he’s dating, it nearly seemed like he couldn’t speak but finally gained his voice to say ”I am really engaged”.
