My gov't will not fail Ghanaians - Nana Addo

The Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has pleaded with Ghanaians to give him the mandate in this year’s election stating that he will fulfill all his promises if elected as President.

Addressing supporters at Assin Fosu in the Central region on Monday, Nana Akufo-Addo promised that an NPP government under his leadership will allow the rule of law to thrive since it is the only way to ensure peace and equality in the country.

He said it is the maintenance of the rule of law, which requires the enforcement of law and order without fear or favour that can guarantee peace, security and justice.

According to him, Ghanaians have been subjected to high cost of living and numerous hardships by President Mills under his “Better Ghana Agenda” which he said has failed woefully.

The NPP flagbearer added that his government will not be characterized by the vindictiveness and thievery that is being witnessed in the current administration.

“We are all under one law; the rule of law will work under my presidency…I will never turn my back on you unlike President Mills who promised to reduce petrol drastically and has kept increasing the price.

“He [President Mills] said he was coming for the poor people but prices of goods have shot up drastically. President Mills’s bad management has made living conditions very difficult in the country.

“All the promises that I have made will be fulfilled if I am elected. I will ensure that there are enough jobs for Ghanaians; I will help improve the National Health Insurance and ensure that everybody is satisfied” Nana Addo told supporters in twi.**
