Former Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports and aspiring Ashanti Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Yammin has revealed that one of his weaknesses is stealing meat from the kitchen.

According to him, while growing up as a kid, most of the quarrels he had with his mother were because of this habit of stealing meat from the soup pot.

The former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister under the Mahama Administration said the temptation has been so overbearing that he seems to have grown with it, extending the practice to his wife’s kitchen.

Speaking in an interview on a local television station in Ghana monitored by MyNewsGh.vom, Mr. Yammin who also served as the Deputy Coordinator of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) in charge of operations under former President John Dramani Mahama, challenged the youth to eschew acts that will jeopardize their future and lead morally upright lives.

“My weakness is stealing meat. A,s a child this was the problem I had with my parents. Even at old age, I have extended it to my wife’s kitchen”, he said

Mr. Yammin who was also the Ashanti Regional Secretary of the NDC until his appointment as deputy sports minister is hopeful the experience he has garnered over the years will in no small measure catapult him to victory as Regional chairman for the NDC in the Ashanti region.
