NACOB snubs Divine Nkrumah over his detention

The Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) has dared a youth leader of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Divine Nkrumah, over his detention at the airport over the weekend.

Nkrumah and his Deputy were detained when they arrived from South Africa and compelled to take some laboratory tests.

He told the media he was rescanned and detained for a long while after he had already gone through the scanners at the airport.

He suspects the move was politically motivated and has hinted that he will sue the NACOB.

But sources at the state security agency have told Starr News the incident was a routine exercise which was being conducted.

Meanwhile, the PPP is expected to hold a press conference over the incident today.
