Three people were injured in the incident Three people were injured in the incident

The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) has launched a probe into the collapse of part of the ceiling of Accra Mall on Thursday, 11 October.

The investigation is to ascertain whether the ceiling fall was a pure accident or there was foul play involved.

Three people were injured in the incident. They are all Nigerians.

The Marketing Manager of Accra Mall, Denise Asare, told Class91.3FM that the injuries were minor ones.

The injured, she said, are receiving the best treatment ever.

Asare said part of the mall is still operational and was hopeful the debris would be cleared by the end of Thursday evening so the entire mall could be operational again.

The cause of the ceiling collapse is unknown currently.
