Twifo Praso (C/R), Jan. 17, GNA - The services rendered by the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) to public are free so communities should, therefore, feel free to report disaster cases to it for action, Prince K. Arhin, Twifo-Heman-Lower Denkyira District Coordinator of NADMO has said.
Prince Arhin was speaking to participants of an in-service training programme NADMO organised for 40 volunteers drawn from the District at Praso.
He drew the attention of the participants that bush fires were rampant during the dry season and there was, therefore, the need to educate the people to be more careful in the way they handled fire to prevent the occurrence of bushfires.
He appealed to the inhabitants of the District to strive to ensure a bushfire free dry season this year adding that they should not to allow fire outbreaks to get out of hand before they seeking assistance from volunteers.
