Ghanaian veteran music producer, Fred Kyei Mensah also known as Fredyma, has refuted claims that Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, popularly known as NAPO, is an arrogant politician.

In an interview with Zionfelix, Fredyma revealed that he and NAPO were classmates at Prempeh College and have been friends for a long time. He expressed that he cannot relate to such claims.

"It's politics, it happens. People say all sorts of things about others, he has been labeled as arrogant but that's not how he is. He helped me throughout school to date. He is my very good friend and I know him," he stated.

Fredyma disclosed that it was NAPO who financed his new studio after the infamous June 3rd incident.

He also stated that NAPO was very disciplined during their school days and expressed that he isn't surprised he became the running mate for Bawumia in the forthcoming elections.

Regarding his steadfast loyalty to the NPP, Fredyma explained that he subscribes to the party's philosophy and principles.
