Former Council of State member, Ama Benyiwa Doe has called on Ghanaians to consider voting the National Democratic Congress (NDC) back into power to so as to properly manage the country’s economy, GhanaNewsPage.Com can report.
According to her, the NDC needs another chance to come and manage the country’s economy again because they are ‘by far better managers of the economy than the NPP.’
“Ghanaians believe in NDC and know that we are better managers of the economy unlike this try me and see, we have tried him but seen nothing…,” she said.
Auntie Ama or Ama Chavez as the once vibrant politician is known and called, said the NDC has what it takes to turn the fortunes of the country around and hence insisted that the party will prove that when given the second chance to come and govern Ghana.
Ama Chavez made the appeal when the elected Womens Organiser of the NDC, Hannah Bissiw and her team paid a courtesy call on her.
Hannah Bissiw said she called on the NDC elder to show her gratitude to her for her support.
Hannah Bissiw was elected the party’s women’s organiser at a congress held at the Pentecost Convention Centre (PCC) a week ago.
She defeated the incumbent to become the one to lead the women’s wing of the party seeking to win the 2020 elections.
Hannah Bissiw will be assisted by Maame Efua who won the Deputy National women Organiser position.
