The Ashanti Regional Communications officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Abdul Samed Akalilu is authoring a book to reveal secrets about the party’s embarrassing defeat in the 2016 polls.

Mr. Akalilu who was the regional spokesperson for the 2016 elections is accused of pocketing monies and other souvenirs meant for grass root supporters of the party.

Former Deputy Ashanti Regional and regional campaign coordinator, Hon. Andy Ocran was also accused of losing touch with senior members of the party in the region, hence their overwhelmingly defeat.

As a result, some disgruntled members of party locked up the party regional office immediately after the New Patriotic Party (NPP) took office from NDC to show their displeasure at their leadership.

However, the former spokesperson and communications director has revealed he will soon outdoor a book on reasons that caused the party’s defeat.

The book with its full content, mynewsgh.com understands, has been given to Prof. Kwesi Botchwey’s committee which is tasked to investigate the party’s pitiable lost at the polls.

The title of the book is however unclear.

When published, it will be the second time a party under this Fourth Republic is publishing a book after elections.

Dr. Kobina Arthur Kennedy of New Patriotic Party (NPP) published one after party lost power in 2008 with a title: “Chasing the Elephant into the Bush.”????
