Constituency organisers of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to President-elect John Dramani Mahama and Chief Alexander Mould for their selfless efforts during the electioneering strategy and campaign in the region.
The organisers noted that these efforts significantly contributed to the party's recent electoral gains in the region.
In a press release issued on Sunday, the organizers commended Chief Alexander Mould for his innovative approach to election preparedness, which included a carefully designed simulation exercise that yielded impressive results.
The exercise, conducted in the Manhyia South, Bantama, and Kwabre East constituencies, brought together polling station agents, ward collation officials, and pink sheet collectors.
Through this initiative, Alex Mould’s team provided participants with practical experience, equipping them to navigate the electoral process with confidence and precision.
The statistical data below highlights the impact of Alex Mould’s initiative;
Manhyia South: NDC’s share of the vote increased from 15.87% in 2020 to 20.51% in 2024, a significant gain of 4.64 percentage points.
Bantama: NDC’s vote share rose from 13.45% in 2020 to 19.08% in 2024, marking an impressive increase of 5.63 percentage points.
Kwabre East: NDC’s vote share surged from 22.11% in 2020 to 28.40% in 2024, representing a substantial gain of 6.29 percentage points.
The organizers praised Alex Mould for his visionary leadership, commitment to strengthening democratic processes, and dedication to empowering party members.
They also acknowledged his generous contributions, which included party T-shirts, financial assistance, brand-new motorcycles, and his physical presence during campaigns, all of which yielded positive outcomes and made an indelible impact.
The organisers appealed to the appointing authorities to recognise individuals who dedicated time and resources to effectively directing the region, leading to positive results, rather than those who exaggerated their roles without tangible impact.
They also vowed to resist any attempts to introduce unknown individuals under the guise of regional representation, emphasizing their commitment to the party's success.
