NDC do not deserve another chance - Nyaho-Tamakloe

Accra, Nov. 15, GNA - Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, Chairman of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) on Saturday warned members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) not to make the slightest mistake that would help the National Democratic Party (NDC) to come back power because it ruined the country when they had the mandate.

He said it was unfortunate that people usually tended to forget themselves so quickly but if they could reflect on the things the NDC did to this nation in the past it would dawn on them that it would be a great mistake to give them another chance.

Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe was addressing the Ayawaso Central Constituency rally to officially present Sheik Ibrahim C. Quaye, as the NPP Parliamentary Candidate for the area.

He said: "Never in the history of Ghana has this country enjoyed the kind of freedom we are enjoying today under the President Kufuor. "This is a government that tolerates a lot. Indeed God gave us President Kufuor in this particular time of our history, a man whose tolerance cuts across every sphere of life," Dr Tamakloe said.

Sheik Quaye expressed satisfaction and told the supporters that their massive turn out and show of solidarity was a clear indication of the support they had for President Kufuor's Administration.

He said he was happy for the fact that the people had acknowledged that they had been provided with more development projects during the four years of NPP administration than the eight years of NDC. "Politics is indeed about providing the needs of the people. I did not leave you comfortless, when you called on me I came and when you invited me to your functions I attended.

"You are so enlightened as a society that, today I don't think you will make the mistake by voting for someone, who neglected your needs and still wants you to give him another chance," Sheik Quaye told them. 15 Nov. 04
