Some members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) embarked on a health walk and campaign launch on November 2, 2024, to solicit votes in the upcoming December 7 elections.

The event began from Dzorwulu North through to Dzorwulu Central and ended at Abelekpe astroturf. It saw the NDC parliamentary candidate of Ayawaso West Wuagon, John Dumelo, and other party faithful like KOD, Fred Nuamah, and the sons of John Mahama.

In a video captured by GhanaWeb TV during the event, some party faithful taught electorates how to vote in the elections to avoid rejected ballots.

"When you go to the polling station and receive your ballot papers, the only thing you should look out for on the paper is the umbrella. After seeing it, cast your vote using your thumb to avoid spoiling the ballot paper," one of the tutors said.

He also taught voters how to fold the ballot paper after casting their votes.

"After voting, fold the ballot paper vertically so the ink doesn't stick to another presidential candidate. If that happens, the EC officials would call it a rejected ballot.

"Also, when you are given the ballot paper, check the official stamp of the Electoral Commission so the vote won't be rejected," he added.
