NDC primaries: Ofosu Ampofo commends Volta for calibre of aspirants

National chairman of the National Democratic Congress has expressed joy over calibre of persons vying to enter Parliament, come 2021 on the ticket of The Party.

In an exclusive interview with our reporter, Edzorna Francis Mensah as a national rep on the Volta Regional Vetting Committee underway at Regional Office, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo said, he was happy about the calibre of candidates being vetted now emphasising that “it shows the abundance of quality human resources we’ve in Volta Region”.

He believes that “at the end of the day whoever emerges in the various Constituencies will be a wealthy representative of the party”.

He commended the Regional Secretariat for the well-organized programme, adding “the Region is well organized and they have assembled all the CVs very well. Everything is in order and let me say I’m happy.”

The Region is expected to vet candidates from 10 constituencies for the day one, Thursday, 25th July 2020: Ketu North, Agortime Ziope, Hohoe, Keta,
Afadzato South and Anlo. The rest are South Dayi, Ho West, Central Tongu, and Ketu South.
