Brong Ahafo Regional Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwame Bafoe, is alleging that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) received 275 vehicles from the owner of DKM Micro finance Martin Delle.
He believes it is the reason; the current government is indifferent to the plight of thousands of customers who have lost their investment to the Ponzi scheme.
According to him, the vehicles were donated to the party in November 2015 through Ghana’s Ambassador to France which is why government is unable to take drastic measures in retrieving the cash of customers.
Speaking to host of Abusua Nkomo, Kwame Adinkra on Abusua 96.5 FM, Abronye further alleged the trucks were presented to the NDC to aid in their 2016 campaigns.
He called on the leadership of the party to sell those vehicles and use the money accrued to offset the debt incurred by customers of the defunct company some of whom have committed suicide out of frustration
“Kwame government is not able to take decisive action DKM because they are in bed with the fraudulent micro finance company,” he said.
“I can tell you on authority that Martin Delle recently donated plenty Mahindra cars to the NDC and he did that through Ghana’s ambassador to France,” he added.
“If the government is seriously benefiting from the loot, how it can take any action against the company…obviously it cannot because they are fellows in the looting,” he charged.
