Chief Biney, the former Deputy National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has announced with great sadness the passing of his partner, Lucy Ama Nyame Cofie.

Chief Biney shared a heartfelt message on his Facebook page, honoring the memories they shared and the impact she had on his life.

“Life takes us on different paths, but I'll always appreciate the lessons we learn. I'll cherish the memories we shared and the impact you had on my life. Your love, laughter, and memory will forever be in my heart. Rest in peace, Lucy Ama Nyame Cofie, my loving and forgiving partner,” he wrote.

Friends and well-wishers have extended their condolences to Chief Biney during this difficult time.

The funeral for Lucy Ama Nyame Cofie will take place on January 24th 2025 at the Lashibi Funeral Homes, where friends and sympathizers are invited to gather and celebrate her life.
