"NDC to have easy elections" - Agbanaza

Kete-Krachi, June 28, GNA-Lt. Col. Charles Agbanaza, Volta Regional Minister has said this year's elections would be a walk over for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He told his district chief executives (DCEs) at a three-day conference at Kete-Krachi on Monday that details about logistical support in connection with the elections would be discussed at various levels of the party in due course.

"Our task towards ensuring the unquestionable success of our party at the December 2000 parliamentary and presidential elections is a formidable one,'' the Minister said.

He commended the DCEs for their unalloyed support and contribution towards the success of the NDC special congress at Ho in April, adding that he was confident the elections would be as successful as ever.

Mr Francis Yaw Osei Sarfo, Kete Krachi DCE on behalf of his colleagues said this year marks yet another important milestone in "our turn to prove to the world that our success story is not a fluke".

He, therefore, suggested to politicians that they must not consider themselves as political rivals or enemies but as brothers and sisters with different ideas.
