Minority Leader in Ghana's Parliament, Cassiel Ato Forson, has assured Ghanaians that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will begin implementing all promised policies starting January 7, 2024.
Speaking to Joy News after the NDC's victory in the recent elections, Ato Forson described the results as a strong message from the voters.
He characterised the defeat of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a "revolution of the people of Ghana."
"This should serve as a warning to all of us. I see a country that is frustrated—a country where citizens are demanding change from politicians and nothing less. The current situation cannot continue." Ato Forson emphasised.
He reaffirmed the NDC's dedication to meeting the expectations of Ghanaians, promising that policy implementation will start as planned.
"From January 7, 2024, the NDC will start putting into action policies that directly address the needs and requests of the people.
"I can guarantee that," Ato Forson added, showing optimism for the party's agenda.
