The governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has plans of sharing ritual monies to journalists and some key stakeholders within Ghana’s electoral process to do their bidding in the December 7 presidential and parliamentary elections, Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah, founder and leader of the Glorious Word Ministry International, has said.
According to him, journalists and other persons who fall prey to what he described as a “demonic” attempt by the NDC to rig the elections – through the sharing of “thank you gifts” – will lose their lives after the elections because their souls will be used “to appease evil powers”.
Speaking in an interview with Chief Jerry Forson, host of Ghana Yensom on Accra100.5FM on Monday November 28, the man of God, who is noted for his prophecies on Ghana’s elections, said: “Let me warn everybody, journalists and all others, God has revealed to me the evil plans of the NDC. They have gone in for ritual monies and anybody who will take money from the NDC to do their bidding in the elections will lose his or her life. Whether the NDC wins or loses they will go to where they performed the rituals and thanked them. Some of those who will take their moneys will die through road accidents, especially.
“My advice to Ghanaians is to reject the monies from the NDC. If you have already taken any money, please don’t do what they have asked you to do because you will lose your life; pray to God for protection. You will either die or lose your businesses. This is a warning God has given to me to tell Ghanaians. Not only money, all the other goodies: fridges, sewing machines, televisions, and others that they are sharing are ‘blood goodies’ and, so, please reject anything from them.
“Just like the 2008 elections, I prophesied that people were going to lose their lives after the elections; nobody listened to me and after the elections we all saw what happened. Several accidents, with several people dying, happened.”
The prophet added that the same ‘demonic’ persons sacrificed a cow in their attempt to kill the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, but that did not work, saying whatever they fashion against him “will not work”.
