The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has withdrawn Nurein Shiabu Migyimah as its Assin Central parliamentary candidate due to immoral acts and anti-party activities.
Complaints were filed against Migyimah, leading the NDC’s Central Regional Functional Executive Committee (R-FEC) to conduct thorough investigations. After deliberations, the committee decided to immediately withdraw Migyimah's candidacy.
In a letter to the Assin Central chairman of the NDC, the Regional Functional Executive Committee also announced a six-month suspension for Migyimah pending further investigation by the Regional Disciplinary Committee.
