NPP China branch frowns at attack on npp headquaters

Following the recent reprisal attacks on NPP members which have precipitated the death of one of our adored members and the posterior hazardous, perilous and grievous onslaught of the Head Office of the biggest opposition party in Ghana, we the NPP China branch are unquestionably and veritably unrest and disquiet about this canker. We have depicted the threatening and parlous attack at the NPP Head Office at Accra as very prejudicial and threatening to our hard-won democracy that our forefathers wet their last blood to leave us with. This is a clear indication of hijack of the country’s constitutional rights, violation of rule of law, disintegration and decay of public safety and abuse of fundamental human rights. The question is why is it that the NDC government led by Mahama administration is too sensitive and perceptive to lawlessness, judicial scandal. Recuperating on commonsensical and justified democratic events of most developed countries, their nation advancement, and altitudinous technological advancement, which the current NDC ruling government should have bear-hug to bring consolation to Ghanaians privations; it is at this occasion that the NPP head office is being prey for colossal and monstrous attacks. On 23rd of November, 2015, men dressed in military outfits with police convoy, forayed into the head office of the main opposition party in Ghana, besieged and aggressively caused astronomical damages and afflictions, while escaping with ultra expensive party information, valuable computer hard drives, documents and other precious valuables. NPP China branch poses the following questions:
i. Who supplied the attackers with the police uniforms?
ii. Who supplied them with the police vehicles for this criminal, illegal, unlawful, villainous and felonious attack at the NPP head office?
iii. Does the Osu Castle or the Flagstaff House issues vehicles and uniforms for felonious operations for the Mahama led-government?
iv. Do the public sector institutions in this great nation issue vehicles for the unlawful operations of the NDC government?
The NDC government machinations would not materialize. The sensation of the NDC government in the coming 2016 elections is a clear loss of arbitral power. So, all they can do now is to formulate heinous attacks on the biggest opposition party. The Police Service and the Ghana Armed Forces have issued their respective statements to deny their involvements but we still believe there are more to it than the explanation to us. We believe that the Police Service and the Ghana Armed Forces should come clean on this matter. How can this be? It looks like there is no iota of truth in what they have released. Even, the initial arrest of the NPP security guards and cleaners who were held hostage at the NPP Headquarters instead of arrest of the attackers by the Police deployed makes one to believe that the Police has hands in the attack. The NDC government should note that a peaceful Ghana has been passed on from one leader to another, and president Mahama and his administration are expected to carry on that tradition.
If the Police Service and the Ghana Armed Forces are not duly involved in this onslaught, then, in an affirmative manner, who issued the vehicles and for that matter the military uniforms for this unlawful operations? Ghanaians and the world over are watching the criminal operations and sabotaging behavior of the NDC government. Ghana’s democracy is at the neonate stage and accordingly will not embrace such delinquency attacks on the hard won democratic freedom in this nation. We call on all Ghanaians to denounce this art of sinisterness perpetrated by these groups of people who count themselves among humans. We see these acts as inimical to the growth of our democratic freedom in this nation. Ghana is an asset of peace to other neighboring countries and the world, and therefore would be detrimental for neighboring countries and the world to hear of such attacks on a major opposition party.
NPP-China has described balefulness in the approach the NDC government is using. It unfolds a tactical intent of what they want to do at the incoming 2016 elections. We can woefully recall the killing of our staunch NPP member in Asawase, where the police came out with the name of person suspecting to be the alleged killer. Ghanaians must embrace themselves for the 2016 elections because gradually NDC is making her intentions known.
We can also recall the 2012 election issue that was marred with election malpractices, and the subsequent handling and adjudicating of the Supreme Court writs which was chaired by Justice Atuguba and the manner at which he equivocally targeted NPP members who criticized his judgment. NPP-China reinstate that such judgment has landed the whole nation into what we are seeing as incompetent Mahama’s presidency which is genuinely the most deplorable and devastating in the annals of our political history. How did our dear Ghana get this bad?.We are even surprise the media is silent on this heinous attack on the NPP Head office. Looking at the publications made by the media, it is undoubtedly clear that Mahama and the NDC cannot siphon a win in the 2016 elections. This has pushed them to cause mayhem in the NPP and to cause disaffection of the party among the electorate. No wonder Ghana is suffering from the most devastating and perilous economy hardships in NDC government regime. Propaganda cannot manage Ghana’s economy. One really wonders if this government is in touch with rhapsody of reality. The reality for most Ghanaians is that the economic policies of this government have destroyed many lives as young graduates are unable to find jobs, people are unable to pay school fees for their wards, people cannot pay for hospital fees, hunger is everywhere, businesses are collapsing and loss of precious lives. .
The China Branch of the New Patriotic Party equivocally serves notice to the Mahama led government that immorality, financial malfeasance and villainous attacks that have engulfed their government must stop. We encourage all NPP members to be vigilant and united so as not to incur the curses of the intruder. We further state that a committee of non-partisan need to be set by President Mahama to probe the villainous attacks on NPP Head office and distinctively bring the culprits to book. Let this serve as a warning, because the eye-tower of the world is watching.
