NPP Man Advises Govt!

...And Call on NPP members to start preaching the party’s Vision

A Ghanaian business man based in the United States of America (USA) and a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Kwame Atakora, has called on the government to adopt the policy of introducing street naming in the country to help boost the economic situation in the country.

According to him, the lack of street naming is totally collapsing business in the country which needs to be looked at as soon as possible. “Investors want to come to the country from outside but they believe our system is not smooth” he said in an interview with the New Crusading Guide. The MP to be noted that the government can put measures in place to straighten the path for the investors to allow the country achieve its Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s). Mr. Atakora, noted that the government should ensure that job creation and wealth generation remains a top priority. He continued that with the discovery of oil in the Western region, there was no doubt that the country would move into the middle income status very soon.

“That is why we must develop our street system for a better living” he said.

Touching on his political affiliation, Mr. Atakora who started his apprenticeship in the party under Mr. Victor Owusu, submitted that he would use his experience he had gained to serve the party at the constituency level to bring back the NPP into power come 2012. He emphasized that the foot soldiers of the NPP should now adopt the house to house campaign and preach the good works of the party to the floating voters and assured all that it will be very a useful exercise in the next general elections.
