Issahaku Moomin Isaac, Wa Central Parliamentary Candidate-elect of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), says his first priority is to reconcile and unite the rank and file of the party in the constituency to win the 2016 elections.

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency in an interview, he admitted that to take back the seat from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) needed team work, unity and togetherness of all party supporters.

He gave the assurance that working in oneness and with collective efforts, the Wa Central seat and other seats in the region would fall to the NPP in next year's elections.

He said he would work with both regional and constituency executives to reflect and do introspection of what happened in the last elections, and adopt the right strategies to win the Wa Central seat.

Madam Bibii Samsudeen, the only woman contestant in the Wa Central race, and in the entire Upper West Region, called for unity among supporters to enable the NPP win the seat.

She was more than prepared to work for NPP and Mr. Isaac to emerge winner not only in Wa Central, but win more seats in the region.

Madam Samsudeen urged supporters and well-wishers of the NPP to bring their expertise to bear in their activities in the region, to ensure that the party won more seats in the 2016 elections.

“It is painful that the NPP cannot count a single seat in the region, and this should be of a concern to all loving NPP supporter to bury their differences and work in harmony and unity to win more seats in the region come 2016,” she admonished.
