NPP are not my paymasters – Rev. Bosomtwi-Ayensu

When the tussle between Rt. Rev. Bosomtwi-Ayensu and National Democratic Congress communicators broke out, a deliberate picture was created about him.

He was portrayed as a person doing the bidding of the New Patriotic Party and not that of the Almighty God.

He has been asked to divest himself of his religious cassock and put on the gleaming Blue, White and Red colors of the largest opposition party in Ghana.

Rt. Rev. Bosomtwi-Ayensu's troubles started moments after he called on President Mahama to man up and propel the nation forward. His comments ignited a furor which is yet to be resolved.

But responding to the allegation on Okay FM, Rt. Rev. Bosomtwi-Ayensu set the records straight by pointing out that "I don't bear the NPP in my middle name or reside in their office”. He added that “they are not my paymasters nor do they buy food for me and my family”.

He further said as a citizen of Ghana who pays tax, he has the right to take on any government whenever things are falling apart under their watch.
