The General Secretary of the Party, Nana Ohene Ntow said, the party had met with government officials to ensure that members of the party also benefit from the micro-credit scheme, which was recently launched by government to improve upon their businesses so that, in future when such people were called upon by the party, they would willingly respond.

The Member of Parliament for Koforidua North, Mr Hackman Owusu-Agyeman said NPP would stay in power for the next 30 years.
He said the party had done enough and so for him the possibility of NPP loosing the 2008 elections was out of the question, "there are no ifs and but, NPP government would hand over power to an NPP government".
Mr Owusu-Agyeman said the party appreciates that all was not well and had put in place measures to correct its past.
He said currently the government was spending 435 million dollars on water projects throughout the country and work had started on a 4,000 flat housing project in the Greater Accra Region.
