Ghana’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Alhaji Saeed Sinari has said that the New Patriotic Party is dominated by actors, who are programmed to act in accordance to the orders of Nana Addo

The NDC firebrand, in reaction to the NPP’s press conference concerning the alleged bribery of its Northern Regional Chairman Daniel Bugri Naabu by the President, said that the NPP has nothing to offer northerners apart from acts replete with palpable lies and deceit.

“If you look at what was discussed by these people who are well noted for theatrics, you just have nothing to say than to laugh and clap for them for recruiting such spectacular actors like that puppet called Mustapha Hamid, he said.

“I have told you these guys are full of dishonest people and am not surprised it’s a son of Zongo who was pushed to address this useless press conference and acted clownish. “And I must admit that these people have good actors, like that Mustapha Hamid who was remote-controlled to lead this press conference.”

“There is nothing to be surprised about his actions since he had learnt it from their Vice Presidential candidate Dr Bawumia who, in similar fashion, lied to Ghanaians at the Supreme Court, after swearing with the Quran.

The NPP on Tuesday held a press conference alleging that the president and his brother Ibrahim Mahama had attempted bribing the Northern Regional chairman of the party with GHS 500,000 cash in GHS50 notes and a car so he could tarnish the image of Mr Akufo-Addo.

HAMID AND NAABU WERE NOT SMART

Speaking to ghanaguardian.com, the former Ambassador to Egypt described the NPP’s claim as cock and bull story and further questioned why Mustapha Hamid and Bugri Naabu should be the ones leading that crusade of lies.

He lamented that it was pathetic to see these two northerners allowing themselves to be used in executing such ignoble acts which will bring nothing but rather sully their image in the end.

“Mustapha Hamid and Bugri Naabu both were not smart, if they were, they would have realized its only when it got to the dirty part of politics that they were called to act.

“You’ve been made puppets, forced to pitch against your brother and you sheepishly do it in style, shedding crocodile tears.”

“Why didn’t they allow somebody else do it but a northerner?” he quizzed.

Mr Hamid, who addressed the Tuesday’s press conference said Mr Mahama and his brother, in October this year, attempted buying Mr Naabu so he would resign from the NPP and launch an acerbic tribal campaign against Mr Akufo-Addo by painting him as a “hater of northerners”.

The party has also challenged the NDC to sue Bugri Naabu concerning the issues raised
