The National Confederation of New Patriotic Party Youth is calling on the party to pardon suspended National Chairman, Paul Afoko, Second Vice Chairman, Sammy Crabbe and General Secretary, Kwabena Agyapong ahead of the Decemmber polls.

The confederation is about petitioning the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) to cancel the trio’s suspension and reinstate them at their respective offices.

According to them, unity is one key element the NPP needs to wrestle power from their opponent and there is the necessity for all and sundry within the NPP fraternity to join forces together for victory.

The Convener for the National Confederation of NPP Youth, Mr. Tweneboah Koduah made the comments on Atinka AM Drive with Ekourba Gyasi on Tuesday.

He remarked that ever since the three gentlemen were suspended, most financiers have also developed cold feet towards the party. The flow of cash into the party is stifled as well as vehicles to go on errands are not available.

Speaking on the same issue, NPP Regional Youth Organizer for the Brrong Ahafo, Kwame Bafour Agyei, said the NPP party is not ready for such a move.

He added that the party is really experiencing absolute peace and would not entertain the suspended gentlemen in running the affairs of the party.

He alleged that the convener Mr. Tweneboah Koduah is one of the ”engineers” who fueled the controversies and factions in the Ashanti Region.
