A former deputy general secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Obiri Boahen has opined that the party has run the most successful, efficient, and impactful campaign in its political history.

According to the private legal practitioner, the 2024 campaign of the NPP has gone to the grassroots and had a lot of impact compared to previous campaigns run by the party.

He posited that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his campaign team, with support from the party, have run an effective campaign that has resonated with the Ghanaian voters and was hopeful it will reflect in the upcoming elections.

Boahen was speaking on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM:’I must state that I am happy and comfortable with how the NPP is running its campaign. I must tell you, since 1992, I never witnessed the NPP organise a campaign that is as attractive and effective as that of the 2024 campaign. The party has gone to the roots this campaign season,’’ he posited.

Boahen said that as someone experienced and someone who has been with the party since it was formed, he can confidently make this pronouncement.
