A former communicator of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bole-Bamboi Constituency of the Northern Region, Yahaya Seidu popularly called Braa Prex- doe has described the party as the country’s most disorganized party.

He claims intolerance and harsh attitude of some few individuals who have hijacked the party and made it their personal property is to blame for its current state, making it unattractive to the electorate.

“NPP is one of the most disorganized parties in Ghana due to intolerance and harsh attitude of some few leaders including the flagbearer Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo”, he alleged.

Braa Prex- doe observed that the NPP has been hijacked by a gang of ‘coup plotters’ who machinated the removal of its constitutionally elected National Chairman Paul Awentami Afoko in the pursuit of their individual parochial interests.

“There are coup plotters in the party leading to the dismissal of the Chairman of the party. I can tell you the NPP currently lacks the experience to go into the December 7 polls with the hope of winning”, he added.

According to him, the ineffectiveness of the current leadership of the NPP manifested in its delay in releasing the 2016 campaign manifesto coupled with wild and unrealistic promises.

He said power should not be given to the NPP because they cannot manage their own party and would not be able to manage Ghana adding, “Putting Ghana in the hands of Nana Akufo-Addo in particular would be very dangerous”.

The defected NPP member said the unprecedented achievements of President Mahama will become a waste if the electorate allows someone in the caliber of the NPP flagbearer to rule the country.
