Northern Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Daniel Bugri Naabu, has told DAILY GUIDE that contrary to detractors’ expectation, the party went through its parliamentary primaries and came out more united than ever before.
He mentioned that “most often, in contests of this nature, there are bound to be contentions after, but the good news is that, the New Patriotic Party members and supporters as well as the aspirants in the Northern Region decided to put the past behind them and forge ahead in the supreme interest of the party winning power to save Ghanaians from the current hardships.”
According to Bugri Naabu, aka Bulldozer, his primary objective is to win more parliamentary seats in the region come 2016 and get Nana Addo to also win most of the votes.
He admitted that although it had been arduous trying to reconcile all members in the various constituencies, the result therefore “is that the party is now united for victory in the region and I believe that the party is now well-composed and poised to go to the field and do what they ought to do for victory.
“We know in this region without doubt that the NPP will take over the reign of governance of this country in January 2017 from the NDC on the account of their abysmal performance since they assumed the mantle of governance in this country.”
