The Member of Parliament for Sefwi Akontombra, Alex Djornobuah Tetteh, has hailed the NPP as a beacon of development, urging Ghanaians to vote them to power in the upcoming general elections.

Speaking exclusively to Etsey Atisu on GhanaWeb TV’s Election Desk, Alex Tetteh highlighted the developmental projects undertaken by the current administration, stressing the importance of Ghanaians having faith in the party.

“The vice president has been in the affairs of this country for the past 8 years and the vice president as the chairman of the Economic Management Team knows what is actually left for them [government] to accomplish in our previous manifesto and we are going to enhance on the past 8 years, what we were able to do."

He added that “We believe that NPP is the beacon of development. If you go to some of the constituencies especially the villages, I can tell you the development and what has transpired in the past 8 years is a marvelous thing and I believe that Ghanaians are going to actually believe and buy into this particular manifesto today,” he noted.

He expressed confidence that the 2024 manifesto will secure a victory for the NPP in the elections.

“Yes I believe so. We have done some before and its not like we promise, and we don’t deliver. The free SHS we promised in 2016 and some of our opponents did about 40 adverts against it that it will not be possible but we believe that in all things we can do it,” he said.
