Mr. Prince Appiah Debrah a.k.a “Osu boy” has been elected as NPP’s parliamentary candidate for Korle Klottey constituency with 511 votes out of 814 total valid votes cast.

His closest contender, Harold Kwatekwei Quartey also managed to poll 300 votes representing 37% of the total votes.

Out of 901 candidates, 814 voted and there was a total of 3 rejected ballots. Mr Debrah who is confident and “battle-ready” to wrestle the Korle Klottey seat from NDC in the upcoming 2020 elections has called for party unity and urged all members to work towards victory.

“For two years now we’ve been digging the ground. This victory is for NPP. Zanetor we are coming after you with a lot of zeal. With vim. Get ready. From now on there will be no more fractions in this party”. He stated.

To him, leaders in the NPP should be chosen based on merit and competence.

“Candidates will be chosen on merit, ability and service to God and country. It’s not going to be about what your name is, where you come from and who your godfather is. Meritocracy, that’s what the NPP is all about.” He added.
