Accra, Jan 06, GNA - The New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Friday sent its greetings to Muslims in Ghana on the occasion of the celebration of Eid-Ul-Adha, the Muslim festival of sacrifice that falls on January 10. A statement signed by Nana Ohene-Ntow, the General Secretary, said, "It is the prayer of the party that our Muslim brothers and sisters translate the meaning of the festival into deeds by making the necessary sacrifices for the overall good of mankind and the nation."
It said Ghana, under the NPP government, had made giant strides towards its entry into the middle-income earning group bracket and it was the expectation of all Muslims would continue to contribute generously to the sacrifices needed to make the dreams of the nation come true. 06 Jan. 06
