The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has taken decisive action against one of its executives, Mr. Anane Frimpong Wilberforce, by suspending him from his position as the Polling Station Secretary for M/A JHS F1 & 2 in Kofiase.

This suspension, effective immediately, comes in response to his actions deemed in violation of the party’s constitution and regulations.

The party leadership has expressed concern over Mr. Wilberforce’s recent activities, which include disseminating falsehoods and making disparaging comments regarding the government and its leadership.

Such behavior is considered a serious breach of the NPP’s core principles of loyalty and discipline, as stated in Article 3(5) A (1) of the party’s constitution, which emphasizes the need for members to “uphold, promote, and defend the good name of the party.”

In light of these actions, Mr. Wilberforce’s case has been referred to the constituency discipline committee for further investigation.

The NPP has reiterated its commitment to maintaining the integrity of the party and ensuring that all members adhere to its standards and regulations.
