NPP will clean the mess created by NDC Government - Dr Agambila

Bolgatanga, July 5, GNA - The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary candidate for the Bolgatanga Constituency, Dr Gheysika Agambila has said that the NPP would clean the mess that has been created by the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Speaking to the Ghana News Agency after a clean-up exercise embarked on by the NPP in the Bolgatanga Municipality, Dr Agambila said that the clean-up exercise was symbolic in the sense that the NDC had created a big mess which needed to be cleaned up.

"The NDC government has created economic, social and political problems which are making it very difficult for workers to cater for their families and cannot be allowed to go on", he said.

He said that the massive turn up for the clean-up exercise demonstrated how the NPP was committed to the general welfare of Ghanaians.

Mr Agambila said the presence of party members including former ministers of state such as Ms Agnes Chigabatia and Mr Kofi Adda, and former District Chief Executives was a clear testimony to the commitment the NPP attached to the welfare of Ghanaians.

Ms Chigabatia who is contesting as an MP for Builsa North called on her women folks in the party not to relent in their efforts but to double it up in order to win more members for the party.

Mr Adda said the party was prepared to capture power in 2012 and that all hands must be on deck to ensure that the party achieves its dreams.

The clean-up exercise which was highly patronized saw most of the party members using their pick-ups cars to convey the rubbish to dump sites.

After the exercise they donated soaps, toiletries and assorted drinks to patients at the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital.
