The National Service Scheme (NSS) has released arrears for April after personnel of the Scheme declared a strike.

The Concerned National Service Scheme Personnel Association of Ghana (CONSPAG) announced a nationwide strike on July 3, 2024, over unpaid allowances.

However, the National Executive Council of the National Service Personnel Association, in a statement on Wednesday, July 3, announced that the Secretariat has issued payment for April, which is expected to hit the accounts of personnel on July 5, 2024.

Allowances for May are also expected to be paid shortly after the April allowance is reflected.
