The failed Parliamentary Candidate of the NPP Tema West Constituency, Irene Naa Torshie Addo is working behind the scenes in a supposed “Raw Nana” agenda that will ultimately fight elected Parliamentary candidate, Carlos Ahnekorah’s bid of winning the seat in 2016 elections, Pollster Ben Ephson has revealed.

Ephson says this has been a clandestine move particularly among the elephant fold that is mainly used by several opponents to demonstrate their resentment in elections.

He’s dared Naa Torshie to come out and prove if that is not the prevailing tactic that is being employed to get back at her main contender in the NPP primaries.

“I’ve been watching, listening and reading, and it has never come out of her mouth that she’ll support Carlos, and she hasn’t come out to appeal to her supporters that they shouldn’t pursue the “Raw Nana” agenda, Ephson said.

But Mr. Ephson is contending that such attitude has a high risk of limiting the party’s chances in the polls as this could upset the party’s bid to obtain the targeted seats in parliament.

“In the run-up to the 2012 elections both NPP and NDC had it, -there were people who were tasked to go round the country after the elections to unite all those who lost the race but I recall within the NDC they didn’t do it well and made them lose 4 seats because of activists who were dissatisfied and went Independent,” Ghana’s renowned Pollster told Kasapa 102.5 FM Wednesday.

Carlos Ahenkorah faced fierce opposition from the NPP incumbent MP for the area, Irene Naa Torshie Addo during the party’s primary.

However, Ahenkorah emerged winner polling 503 votes, while Naa Torshie Addo had 273.

The two are said to have been at loggerheads since then.
