Nana Abena Etruba, the Benkumhene of Gomoa Amanful, has secured fully funded scholarships for 10 citizens of Gomoa Amanful to study journalism. This fantastic opportunity will enable the students to gain skills in radio and TV presentations, video editing, and more.
The scholarships were made possible through Nana Etruba’s lobbying with the Royal Image Group, owners of ASK Media Institute. Dr. Amankwa Agyemang, CEO of the Royal Image Group, promised to provide more scholarships to Nana Abena Etruba in the coming years. During the 2024 graduation ceremony of the institution, Dr. Agyemang presented Nana Abena Etruba with receipts for tuition fees and hostel accommodation fees, along with admission forms.
This is a significant milestone for the youth of Gomoa Amanful, as Nana Abena Etruba aims to provide more opportunities for higher education, especially for the girl child. “The community is likely thrilled about this development, and we can expect more talented individuals to emerge from Gomoa Amanful in the field of journalism,” she added.
