Nana Addo does not take Voltarians serious - Kofi Adams

Following the fresh bond between the Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, and the people of the Volta Region during his 4 day tour to assure them of his commitment to develop the region, Kofi Adams, National Organizer of the ruling NDC believes the bond is a mirage.

In what appears to be scary for the ruling NDC government with the way people in the Volta Region especially the youth welcomed the leader of the NPP, Kofi Adams without admitting his fear in the 4-day tour of Akufo-Addo said the ‘Voltarians’ are already in bed with the NDC.

Narrating the positive impact of Nana Akufo-Addo’s tour to the Volta Region, Aide to Akufo-Addo, Pius Enam Hadzide, stated on Okay Fm’s Ade Akye Abia Morning Show that the people of Volta are ready to vote massively for the NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo as the NDC has disappointed and cheated them in terms of development.

He continued to mention that as an aide to Nana Akufo-Addo, he can attest to the fact that NPP treated Voltarians very well when President John Agyekum Kufuor was in power.

Pius Hadzide, therefore, deflated the NDC's assertion that the Paramount Chief of Aflao Traditional Area, Togbe Amenya Fiti V promised in 2013, to deliver 100,000 votes to President Mahama in the 2016 elections.

But Kofi Adams reacting to the issue on the same program described Pius Hadzide as a ‘messenger’, ‘boy-boy’ who only carries messages of Nana Akufo-Addo.

“...As for Pius, he is small boy and as he is an aide, a boy-boy to Nana Addo, so he sees Voltarians. Because he could not appoint any Voltarian to play any advisory role in the sectors he has set up. Nana Akufo Addo has no regard for Voltarians except this boy-boy job that Pius is doing”, he slammed.

Flagbearer of the opposition NPP, a couple of weeks ago, inaugurated an 18 sector committee to articulate the party’s messages in their respective areas.

The committees will be made up of 150 people, and heads of the committees are expected to also defend the party’s messages and contribute to the making of the party’s manifesto.

Chairpersons of the various committees are expected to act as spokespersons.
