Nana Addo has become a “political desperado” – Koku

The Director of Communications at the Presidency, Koku Anyidoho says the free campaign promises of the main opposition Flagbearer are a desperate tactic to hoodwink voters.

Nana Akufo Addo has promised free Senior High School education if elected president. He recently promised free health insurance cover for all children under 18.

But the CEO of the National Health Insurance Authority, Sylvester Mensah later told XYZ News that children under-18 are already covered by the scheme irrespective of their parents’ subscription status.

In his first studio interview after the death of President Mills, Koku Anyidoho told XYZ News that Nana Addo’s freebie campaign promises are deceptive and clearly shows that he is desperate to become President of Ghana at all cost.

“Nana Addo has become a political desperado who realizes that his days are numbered politically; he is almost off the cliff politically and so wants to throw everything in it.

“One moment its free education, you are not telling us the details, you come with free NHIS for a certain age category apparently it is already in existence. So it is just about free then we should allow Akua Donkor to become President because she says everything will be free.

Mr. Anyidoho also advised aggrieved NDC members who intend joining former First lady Nana Konadu’s splinter NDP to shelve such plans.

According to him, it is better to remain in the NDC and resolve all differences than form splinter groups.
