Nana Addo is a one-term president - NDC Women Organizer

Newly elected Deputy Women’s Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Abigail Elorm Mensah, has said President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo is a one-term president. The reason for her assertion is because of the current deplorable state of the affairs of the country.

Speaking on Happy FM’s ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ show she said, "Looking at the situation on the ground I can confidently say that Nana Addo is a one-term president. Go to the market women and taxi drivers and ask them, the chorus is the same ‘we are suffering under NPP’s bad governance.”

She recounted an incident with a taxi driver who stopped her on one of her numerous campaign tours to buttress her point.

"I was on tour in one of the constituencies when a taxi driver stopped my vehicle and told me that the NDC is their last hope to rescue them from this cruel governance."

"I admit that we are failed candidates but we are not worse off than Nana Addo who lost elections three consecutive times."

"I am encouraging the NPP to rejoice because the NDC has elected failed candidates but I can assure them that the three of us (Dr Louisa Hannah Bissiw, Maame Efua Sakyi Addo and myself) are a formidable team capable of tormenting the NPP until they run away leaving the seat vacant even before 2020,"she stressed.

The elected National women and Youth organizers will be inducted into office at the Party’s National Delegates Congress slated for Saturday, November 17, at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra.
