President of the republic, Nana Akufo-Addo is charging political leaders in Africa to ensure that they take full responsibility of the development of their respective countries.

Addressing political leaders at the G-20 Partnership for Africa Summit which is happening in German capital of Benin, Nana Addo revealed that “African leaders must, firstly, facilitate the building of a new, sustainable, African civilization, where there is accountable governance, respect for the rule of law, individual liberties and human rights, and where the principles of democratic accountability are guaranteed”.

The president is currently attending meetings and conferences in Berlin where he is also expected to reveal to potential investors the economic fortunes of the country. Already, some investors have revealed their intentions to invest in the country.

Meanwhile, the vice president, Dr Bawumia has revealed that government is reaping the benefits of investing in the private sector especially through the increase rate of foreign direct investments in the country.

Nana Addo’s trip abroad has so far attracted much controversy among the minority in parliament as they argue that his visits abroad never were approved by parliament.
