The Ga Mantse, Nii Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, has lauded the 2024 presidential candidate of the New Force party, Nana Kwame Bediako, for his eloquence and visionary leadership.

During a courtesy visit to the Ga Mantse palace on June 25, 2024, he warmly received Nana Kwame Bediako, underscoring the candidate's potential to inspire and lead the nation.

"I take this opportunity to welcome you, my brother. I call you my brother because you have touched my heart. Your power and eloquence make me understand why you have a beautiful partner. Men who can speak well tend to have beautiful women as their partners," he said.

The Ga Mantse stressed the significance of unity and collaboration for national progress.

"Until we realize that we cannot do this alone and that we need the contributions of other minds, other thoughts, and other people, we can never hold it together," he added.

He also emphasized the necessity for hope and exemplary leadership, particularly for the youth.

"This generation requires hope, and the hope you bring to the political arena, especially to the youth, is exemplary."

In response, Nana Kwame Bediako who visited the palace with his wife and entourage expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and committed his support to the Ga Mantse's vision of enhancing Accra.

He presented several gifts, including two sheep, alcoholic beverages, an undisclosed sum of money, locally made Kente fabrics, and other items, to the Ga Mantse and his elders.

"I have brought 50 Kente garments for the chief and his elders, drinks, and other things. However, the most significant gift is outside two sheep.

“One is named Peace, and the other, Unity, symbolizes the peace and unity we need in Greater Accra to develop as one people.

“Because we must unite as one, and on this note, I trust in your ability to make this happen, and I will be supporting you," Nana Kwame Bediako stated.
