Renowned Ghanaian economist and development planning specialist, Dr. Kojo Essiem Mensah-Abrampa, has passed away.
The Director General of the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) is reported to have died on Monday, July 1, 2024, at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital following a suspected heart attack, according to a report by graphic.com.gh.
A revered academic and practitioner with 28 years of experience, Dr. Mensah-Abrampa's contributions to the field were profound.
