A former Director of the Ghana Education Service, Michael Nsowah says the decision to allow National Security operatives to co-invigilate the resit of the leaked BECE papers is a useful exercise but has warned the body may not have adequate men to man every centre.
“Maybe in this instance they can only get one person to be stationed in the perimeters of the centres, but not actual invigilation.
“Yes is true the National Security is known to be invincible in our communities, but I don’t believe they’ve the men to place them at each centre for this, he told Fiifi Banson Monday on Kasapa 102.3 FM.
Following a massive leakage in the ongoing BECE, the West African Examination Council(WAEC) cancelled some five papers and postponed the writing of two others.
The five cancelled papers were English Language 2, Religious and Moral Education 2, Integrated Science 2, Mathematics 2, and Social Studies 2.
The resit of the cancelled papers kicked off today, June 29, 2015.
