The Ghana National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) in the Bole District of the Savannah Region has met on Saturday 7th March, 2020 to outline their concerns before their executives and some stakeholders to see how some of their concerns can be addressed.

The seminar held at the Bole District Assembly conference hall on Saturday 7th March, 2020 brought to fore challenges some National Services personnel are facing in the district.

Speaking to Bole based Nkilgi FM, the president of the Ghana National Service personnel Association (NASPA) in the Bole District Mr Haruna Mohammed said the program has been organised to look at the way forward after National Service and some problems like how to prepare a Curriculum Vitae (CV) for themselves and for jobs.

He said, “The program has been organised to help ourselves and to see the way forward of the personnel of the association after their National service. There are people after their national service, the don’t know how to prepare their CV’s and that’s why we have invited the Member of Parliament for Bole-Bamboi Constituency Hon. Alhaji Yussif Sulemana to take us through”.

He also added, “We National Service personnel are facing so many challenges- Financially we are facing a lot, there is nothing in our account”.

Mr Haruna Mohammed said further said there is no specific person or organization that is supporting the National service personnel, so whoever is willing to support can come to their aid”.

The Member of Parliament formed Bole-Bamboi Constituency Hon. Alhaji Yussif Sulamana who was the guest of honour for the seminar took the National Service Personnel on how one should prepare a Curriculum Vitae and how people should dress and sit for interviews at both government and public institutions. He used his personal in the job market as a case study.
